Privacy notice

AstonBundle is a fictional shop built for a university module. Please use test data only. Do not enter real personal or payment information.

What we store

• Account: your name, Aston email address and a securely hashed password (we never store the password itself).
• Delivery: halls and room number, or a UK address, an optional arrival date and an optional phone number.
• Orders, returns, reviews and messages you send us.

What we don’t store

• Card or bank details — checkout is a simulation with no payment form.
• Date of birth, nationality, passport or visa details.

Emails

We do not send real emails. Verification codes and password-reset links appear in the Demo inbox for the address you used.

Staff access

Staff see only what their role needs. Customer details are masked by default and every “reveal” is logged.

AI features

“Frequently bought together” and the stock forecast use order history only — never names, emails or addresses. Suggestions are always labelled.

Your choices

You can update your details or delete your account at any time from Profile & settings. Order records are kept in anonymised form.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in and keep your basket, and one to protect forms (CSRF). No tracking or advertising cookies.
